The DC 3800c Twin is suggested for use with Lavina 25 machine, which works on larger areas and creates larger amounts of dust. This dust can cause numerous problems if the vacuum used in conjunction with the machine does not have a powerful and efficient filtration system. To name few of these problems – reduced tool life, decreased productivity, unsafe work environment, etc…
Similarly to other Dustcontrol vacuums, the DC 3800c Twin features special pre-separators and advanced filter technology. The majority of the dust, up to 99.97%, is removed from the airflow prior to the filter system. Then the filter system cleans the air to OSHA standards. Exhausted air is cleaner than the average home’s air quality, thus eliminating the harmful silica dust and asbestos fibers generated by concrete grinding and creating dust-free work environment.
